Jen's wedding

After Ragnar, Jen and Mike got married in our backyard. It all happened so fast. She stayed at our house at night in the summer, went through a lot of changes, and this night she got married. Things came along nicely and this is the first wedding Jeff and I have ever had at our house before.
Bishop Cobb married them and some of Jen's friends have become friends of mine too now after all the time we've spent planning her 40th birthday and wedding.
All of us running friends together for Jen.

all of her friends that know everything and were their for her through it all.

vegas ragnar

all 12 of us packed in a 15 passenger van headed to vegas ragnar for our race.
It started in Mt. Charleston. Becca was the 1st runner and I was the 2nd. It was freezing. The first leg was all down hill and my legs felt it afterwards. Our team name was the Unforgettables.

Our next leg was later that night about 8pm. It was dar, running in some hills, and once again we were cold.
Being silly cuz that's what happens on these races.
Our occasional meet up with Van 2 for an exchange.
We all had the same pants and tanks for photo reason and our Ragnar tattoos on.

My last leg started about 4am. It was dark and cold. I ran past Lake Mead and finished as the sun rose. My total miles was 18.5 We finished the race 2nd in our division!

Beginning of November craziness

Cuddling in the morning with everyone is the best! I will definitely miss this! Best things is having a Cal King bed to fit everyone on.
Everyone's head had been itching and I thought it was dandruff and dry skin, but then mine was itching and I asked jeff to see if I had lice and sure enough at 10pm he saw live lice. I knew if I had it, then all the girls had it. So for the next 3-4 hours I went to the store to buy lice shampoo and Jeff used the comb to get as much lice out of my hair as he could. As soon as the girls woke up, Jeff and I got busy doing the same thing with the girls. They all had it. The rest of the day was spent cleaning and doing laundry....ALL DAY!
Jordyn has also been taking missionary lessons for her upcoming baptism. We have sisters in our ward and they are great!

halloween 2015

This was our halloween dinner. We had monster spaghetti, bread, veggies, and monster cookies for dessert. After we had the kids close their eyes and feel and guess what they were holding. For example peeled grapes were witch eyes. The kids loved it all.
Halloween fell on a Friday. I helped it Levi's and Jordyn's class. Levi was a nice clown during the day....

.....and a scary clown at night. He wasn't afraid of the mask like I was.
Jordyn was a flapper girl. I already had a flapper costume for Macie, and Jordyn wanted to be the same as Macie. Luckily I had bought this flapper dress last year after halloween and it fit perfectly.
 Such a cute flapper girl!

Sydney is an emoji. She wanted to be an angry emoji. So I made it out of cardboard and her costume was done. I love Levi's pose.
Here is our little 2 year old flapper girl and not wanting to pose for the camera

She loved the candy and I think she had a piece of candy in her mouth for 4 hours straight.

We had about 6 families over for an outside potluck and then we all went trick-or-treating.
Here are all the kids that left from our house. We pull our fire pit to the driveway and put our candy on a table so trick or treaters can pick up some candy.
After the kids poured their candy out and the trading began.

Vertuccio Farms

Our outing to Vertuccio Farms. This year Macie really was able to enjoy it too.
All the usual things were a ton of fun: the slide, pillow jumpy thing, hay ride, other ride, corn maze, and the other activities for families.

Getting around in the corn maze and playing a game who can get the most points.

Macie's 1st dance clas

On Wednesdays Macie went to ballet and then a gymnastics class with Miss Jen. Macie went with her friend and neighbor, Posey.
Getting into class was sometimes rough, but once she started she was good. I wasn't allowed in the class but I could see from the window.

The last day of class, in December, the girls did a routine for the parents. It was so cute and Macie loved it, and of course the candy cane after.
 Our sweet, little angel.
